In 2023, Rachel Reber, a local small business owner in Rogue River, noticed a deeply concerning trend: more and more neighbors were struggling to secure basic food. Even more heartbreaking were the stories of local children telling school staff and Young Life leaders that they were hungry.

Determined to make a difference, Rachel researched the gaps in local support and founded Rogue River Cares. Our core mission is simple yet vital: to provide local teenagers with the essential monthly hygiene products they need to feel clean, confident, and cared for.
